Created by Jewel City Kickball member Bill Rawlinson and his father, Huntington’s coveted kickball cup was originally named the Sir Henry Cup after famous assyriologist/explorer Sir Henry Creswicke Rawlinson. Bill and his father wanted to give the trophy a royal name like the NHL’s Lord Stanley Cup and thus our trophy was born. After league member Paul Martin’s tragic death in 2013, the trophy was tastefully renamed in his memory. The Paul Martin Memorial Cup displays the champion of each season on its trophy face and is truly one of the most uniquely designed trophies in all of adult kickball.
